Using Pipeline Changes to Enhance Smart Lists in Surplus Systems

Learn how to dynamically update your SmartLists based on pipeline changes within Surplus Systems CRM. This article offers detailed instructions on setting up and utilizing pipeline status updates to automatically refine your lists, ensuring your SmartLists always reflect the most current engagement stages of your contacts.


1. Start by accessing contacts tab.

1 To commence, click here.

2. Select a contact that you wanted to add in pipeline

2 Next up, click on the element.

3. After selecting a contact, click Add to Pipeline

3 After that, click on the element.

4. Select a pipeline from the drop down list

4 Click on "VC".

5. Select a stage as well from the drop down list

5 Click on "Apply opportunity to following contacts".

6. Create an opportunity by providing its name.

6 Click on the element.

7. Provide the source of the opportunity.

7 Next, click on the element.

8. Select Lead Value from the drop down list

8 Click on "Apply opportunity to following contacts".

9. Choose Opportunity Status from the drop down list

9 Click on "Apply opportunity to following contacts".

10. Provide description for the action in the given text box.

10 Once that's done, click here.

11. Finish the task by clicking on 'Add/Update Opportunity'.

11 After, click on "Add/Update Opportunity".

12. Wait for task execution to finish.

12 Click here.

13. Confirm your operation by clicking on 'Ok'.

13 Next up, click on "Ok".
