Adding Authors to Your Blog Posts in Surplus Systems

Personalize and attribute your blog content by adding authors in the Surplus Systems Blog Builder. This quick guide teaches you how to showcase writer profiles, enhancing credibility and encouraging reader engagement by connecting content with its creators.


1. Start by selecting 'Websites' tab.

1 Click here.

2. Then proceed to the Blogs feature.

2 After that, click on "Blogs New".

3. Access the settings from the button provided.

3 Then, click here.

4. Click 'Add New Author' button to start author creation.

4 After that, click on "Add New Author".

5. Enter author information in the provided text field.

5 Next, click here.

6. Update the author image through 'Change' button.

6 Click on "Change".

7. Click here to alter image alternative text.

7 Now, click here.

8. Input needed description in the provided area.

8 Click on the element.

9. Provide your social media URL in the space provided

10. Complete the process by clicking 'Create Author'.

10 Once that's done, click on "Create Author".

11. You can locate your added author here

11 Afterwards, click on the element.

12. Select this button to edit Author details.

13. To delete an author, click this icon.

14. Hit 'Delete' button to remove author from the list.
